I’ve shot over 300 weddings and I still feel so excited about every wedding I shoot.
What I'm about...
I’m not the kinda wedding photographer who’ll be asking you to awkwardly pose, or pulling you away from your family for endless photographs. I’m the one who’ll be encouraging you to dance in the rain, kiss in the moonlight, or jump in the lake! And I’ll help you soak up every amazing second of the best day of your lives, and tell the story in an authentic, real way.
And so when you look through your wedding album in years to come, every page will be filled with spontaneous laughter and natural smiles. Snapshots of moments when you were completely and utterly happy. And totally, hopelessly in love.
And let’s go exploring! I mean, you’re getting married in the Lake District! And Mother Nature took the afternoon off when she made this place! So let’s go adventuring together for a little while. Not too long, I promise. But just long enough for you to spend a few intimate moments alone together, let your guard down, get all soppy and romantic, and maybe even get the bottom of your dress a little muddy!
And don’t worry about the weather. Even if it’s ‘howling a hoolie’, trust me: happy and dishevelled beats bored and pristine any day of the week.

FAQ's
Do you Travel? Yes. I travel all over the UK and Worldwide shooting Weddings. However the past couple of years has shown me that it is incredibly important for me to be close to my family and home. Therefore I now only accept a small number of weddings outside of Cumbria.
Do we need a second shooter? This totally depends on what your wedding looks like. Generally I can cover a wedding very comfortably myself with more photos than you could dream of. However, some weddings do really benefit from a second shooter. Come and chat with me and I can advise the best package to suit your needs. Things I take into consideration are the amount of guests at your wedding along with how many venues you will be hopping between on your day. I'll advise honestly once I know all the finer details.
Do you do Discounts? No. At this point, my business has grown to a point where I can not offer discounts to my couples. I have had to raise my prices over the years to keep up with supply and demand while ensuring each couple is getting an experience that is worth every penny.
When do you start shooting? Normally 1-2 hours before your ceremony.
How far in advance Should I book? As far as possible. This will give you a great chance of booking a date in with me but I do also take last minute bookings when we have availability.
What happens if you are sick? Fortunately not only do I have a fantastic team that I wholeheartedly trust, but I am also part of a network of incredible photographers to call on in the unlikely event that I am unwell. The past 2 years have shown us that no matter what life throws at us, we all stick together and help out when someone is in need.
How long does it take to get my photos after the wedding? 6-8 Weeks. I will send you a sneaky preview to use on your thank you cards though!
Can I add an extra hour onto my package? Yes. You can discuss and amend your package at any point (subject to availability)
How do I book? Fill out the form below to Contact Me. I like to chat with all my couples before booking to make sure we are the right fit for each other.
How much is the deposit? I take a 20% deposit upon booking. The final payment is due 4 weeks before the wedding.
Do I need to supply you with a meal on the day? Yes please. Myself and my team work very hard and are so grateful of a hot meal when we back up all your images during your evening meal.
