I like to shoot outside as much as possible, capturing the kids just being themselves, playing with leaves, climbing the trees and splashing in puddles. Why not?! This makes for real smiles and beautiful family moments.
No more pushing the kids to sit next to each other and grimace. My aim is to give them an experience they’ll enjoy! Not only because I want the session to be a fun experience in itself. But because real laughter and genuine smiles make for gorgeous photos. The ones you’ll have framed on all your walls, and share and reshare with all your family!
And please don't worry about your kids "performing" for the camera. We want them to be themselves and let their unique personalities shine through!

This is a very special part of my job. Being given the opportunity to come into your home and capture this new and exciting chapter in your lives is beyond humbling. I understand how fragile, hectic and precious these first few weeks can be, and I’m so blessed to be a part of it.
You've had family visiting, emotions galore and a wonderful new person to welcome into your lives. And putting the photographs aside for a moment, so many of my clients have told me they’ve been really looking forward to the session as a little oasis of calm in the middle of it all!

That’s why I visit you in the comfort of your own home, using natural light to capture you and your baby to make the session as relaxing and unobtrusive as I can. I integrate gifts that have been given to you, and use your home as the backdrop to make the whole experience as personal as possible.
I'll have a chat with you before your shoot, find out how you are feeling, let you know what I plan to do and check that all feels right for you on the day. Some parents choose not to have their baby touched at this early stage. I want you to know that I completely respect your wishes, whatever feels right for you. But I am fully trained in this area, so if you do wish to sit back, relax and have a cuppa (or a nap!), your baby is completely safe with me during your photoshoot.
I love to include siblings, pets and parents whenever possible, but please do let me know if this doesn't feel right for you.
